  • 1 hour 30 minutes

One of the challenges of creating digital data of any kind is making sure it survives in the long term. This session will talk about some of the risks to your data, and how to mitigate against them. It will also look briefly into depositing data with sustainable repositories, how to prepare sustainable data from the outset, and how data can persist in various forms to allow reuse and encourage reproducibility.

Training workshops are for University of Exeter staff and postgraduates, but interested undergraduate and postgraduate taught students are very welcome to email digitalhumanities@exeter.ac.uk and any spare places will be allocated to you nearer the time.
